Eucharist: this Sacrament, the source and summit of the Christian life, takes being one with Jesus to a whole new level! Within the context of a meal, instituted at the Last Supper of Jesus, we pray as a Church, celebrate God’s love in giving us Jesus, and finally receive as food the Body and Blood of Jesus Himself. Partaking fully at the Eucharist officially completes our initiation into the Church after receiving Baptism and Confirmation. This Sacrament is a sacrament of love, a sign or unity and a bond of charity.
Children seeking the Sacrament of First Communion must be registered in Family Formation at the parish. Children must attend weekly Mass as well as Mass on all Holy Days of Obligation. Parents are responsible for instilling a love of the Mass in their children and ensuring that they are in attendance.

First Reconciliation Requirement
As part of their preparation for First Holy Communion, all children are required to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation three times prior to receiving First Communion. This ongoing participation helps children become comfortable celebrating God's mercy and fosters the habit of regular confession as an important part of the Catholic life.
Attendance at all three Reconciliation dates is required as part of your child's sacramental preparation. Please plan accordingly, as these celebrations are an essential component of the First Communion program.

Saturday, February 6, 2027 at 11am
Saturday, March 13, 2027 at 11am
Saturday, May 22, 2027 at 11am (During First Communion Retreat)

We are excited to announce that our First Communion Masses will be celebrated on Corpus Christi Weekend!
Saturday, May 29 at the 4:00 PM Mass
Sunday, May 30 at the 11:00 AM Mass
Your child's assigned Mass will be based on their Faith Formation class placement.
As we celebrate the great gift of the Holy Eucharist, our Corpus Christi celebrations will include a Eucharistic Procession following the 4:00 PM Mass and Eucharistic Adoration after the 11:00 AM Mass, making this an especially beautiful weekend for our First Communicants and parish family.
