To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today; to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community; to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person by helping those individuals to recognize his/her own giftedness; to encourage young people to make a stewardship response to that giftedness. Comprehensive youth ministry is ministry that is to, with, by and for youth.
Responsibilities - To created a safe environment and acceptance of all young people so that they feel comfortable sharing their relationship with God and others.
Helpful Attributes - Patience, understanding, cheerfulness, and a sense of humor - willingness to be open to the youth of the parish
Time Commitment - 2-3 hours per week
Training Required - Diocesan and parish training provided
