The goal of our Music Ministry is to provide uplifting music that elevates the Holy Mass, focuses our attention on the Holy Eucharist and draws us into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities:  A commitment to rehearse with your respective ensemble and to bring a joyful attitude and a willingness to learn beautiful music. 

Fingerprinting Required: No

 

Leads the singing at the 10:45am Sunday liturgy and at special liturgical and non-liturgical musical events throughout the year. Singing a wide range of styles, this choir loves singing harmony and is committed to making beautiful music. Open to all ages!

Time Commitment: Rehearses once a week on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Even if you don’t know how to read music but you love to sing you are still encouraged to join. We will help you learn. Don’t be afraid! Dust off the cobwebs on your voice and come share your beautiful gift!

Leads singing at the 9am Sunday liturgy. Directed by Kris Krueger.  If contemporary praise and worship music is more your style than For God’s Grace is for you!

Time Commitment: 2 rehearsals a month on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm. Membership is open to all voices and instruments by audition only.

Do you have a little one that loves to sing!? Bring them to the Children’s Choir! They sing at various Sunday liturgies about once a month and it’s open to all kids from 8-14 years of age.

Time Commitment: 3 rehearsals on Monday from 4:45pm-5:30pm and one Mass per month.

Leads the congregation in singing hymns and songs and occasionally asked to sing solos. Looking for joyful smiles and pretty voices to encourage the congregation to participate fully and sing with you.

Time Commitment: You’ll most likely practice during the week, either with your ensemble or with the accompanist, then sing Sunday morning.  The Director of Music will help train you to make you feel comfortable.

Love playing an instrument? The music ministry NEEDS you! Piano, guitar, bass, drums, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, etc! Reading music is required and being somewhat proficient is preferred. 

Time Commitment: Varies per ensemble.

Love music but don’t want to sing? No problem. Ringers in the Handbell Choir provide special music for various liturgies and other musical events throughout the year. Can you count to 8? Great! Then you can be a part of the Handbell choir! Come let your musical side flourish as we make the bells ring!

Time Commitment: Rehearses 2-4 times a month usually Monday or Tuesday,  7:00-8:30 pm.
